Meet your counsellor
Habiba Chowdhury Ferguson
You may like to know how I work. As your counsellor, I take an active role in our sessions i.e., I won’t simply be sitting there in silence and nodding!
When we work together, we’ll explore not only the current concerns that brings you to counselling but also the relevant, broader context of your life - e.g., past experiences, significant relationships, etc. By acknowledging these interconnections, we can develop a deeper understanding of the self, and more importantly, how to support your mental wellbeing.
Together, we can work to achieve the meaningful change that you seek.

I am also a course director at Coleshill Trainee Counsellor Centre, designing and delivering CPCAB courses, and a course tutor at Sakoon Counselling.
When I’m not at work, I’m usually giving my pets belly rubs, searching for the next board game to play, and drinking my fourth gallon of tea.
